The Proposals

Keepmoat Homes have been giving a lot of thought to the types of homes that are needed in the area and what these new homes could look like.

The development proposals have been carefully designed to respect the existing character of the area. Notably, the proposed building heights align with existing heights in the area and the general character of the surrounding built environment including the surrounding landscape.

The site can accommodate 37 houses, along with associated access, open space, drainage basin and pumping station.

​

In terms of housing, each dwelling will provide 3-4 bedrooms and will range between one to two storeys, which is in keeping with the surrounding built form in terms of building height.

Each dwelling would have use of parking on a private drive that provides for a minimum of two cars, many with garages, and use of its own private front and rear gardens.

In terms of materials, the residential dwellings will use high quality materials that are congruent with the current surroundings. Keepmoat Homes is an established housebuilder, known for using high quality materials to provide a responsive, liveable environment for its residents.

The design and appearance of the scheme has been informed by the surrounding existing character and context and has carefully responded to the existing materials and design precedents set in the area.
